About PBGEU

BACKGROUND:

Public Bank Group Employees Union (PBGEU) was formed by Public Bank employees, for Public Bank employees. We believe that the best representation comes from those who understand our workplace culture, policies, and day-to-day challenges.

OUR TIMELINE:

→ 13 FEBRUARY 2025

PBGEU officially formed

→ 7 JULY 2025

PBGEU officially registered with JHEKS

→ 7 NOVEMBER 2025

Formal Recognition obtained from Public Bank Management

→ 29 NOVEMBER 2025

Successful Inaugural AGM with democratic elections

→ PRESENT DAY

Building membership across all branches 

OUR COMMITTEE:

All committee members are current Public Bank employees who continue working in their regular roles while serving the union. 

OUR MISSION:

To provide immediate, effective representation for Public Bank employees

To ensure fair treatment in all workplace matters 

To build a strong, democratic union focused on our bank's specific needs

To maintain complete transparency in all union activities

To prepare for collective bargaining as our membership grows
